Dr. Christine Jax Appointment at Digital Media Arts College

Boca Raton, FL; 08, August 2015: Digital Media Arts College of Boca Raton, FLhas appointed Dr. Christine Jax as Dean and Chief Academic Officer of the College. Dr. Jax will be responsible for all academic functions of the art college including curriculum, policies, faculty and student success.

Dr. Jax comes to DMAC with over two decades of experience. Her former roles include; Commissioner of Education and CEO of the Department of Education for the State of Minnesota, the Vice President of Academic Affairs for Anthem Education/FCC Colleges, Dean for Online Education at Keiser University, Associate Dean of doctoral programs at Walden University, Department Chair at Capella University, and Professor at numerous Universities. Her areas of expertise include higher education policy and administration, digital and online learning, change management, and program development.

Dr. Jax has written several academic articles and has published a book about higher education. In addition, she has written over one hundred mainstream articles on the topics of higher education, K-12 education, parenting, relationships, and spirituality. She has provided expert commentary with major media outlets including CNN, ABC News, Discovery, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal.
